We are emotions

Noi siamo emozioni

And what if we could give our emotions shape?

They would probably all be different. Bright, uncontainable, explosive. Some always on alert, others decidedly harder to impress.

For San Marino Comics 2026, we decided to immerse ourselves in the colorful world of Inside Out and draw inspiration from something we all know very well: our emotions.

The ones that make us feel good and the ones we would rather avoid. The ones that make us react instinctively, protect us, make us see possibilities everywhere, or imagine everything that could go wrong.

Because perhaps this is one of the most beautiful aspects of Inside Out: it reminds us that no emotion is useless and that even the most uncomfortable ones have something to tell us.

Five emotions, four pieces of jewelry

We chose Anxiety, Disgust, Anger, Joy and Ennui.

Five completely different personalities that we interpreted through our own language: that of materials, colors, and stones.

Anxiety

“I am Anxiety. I plan for the future.”

Anxiety (Anselmo) is always one step ahead.

She observes what is happening while already thinking about everything that could happen next. She anticipates scenarios, plans, checks, and seeks solutions even to problems that may never exist.

And it is precisely this restless, ever-moving energy that we sought to capture in the pendant dedicated to Anxiety.

Anselmo, a fictional name we chose for the famous character, is a pendant with a necklace in Silnova 925 silver, embellished with 0.34 ct rhodolites and enamel details. A mechanical joint was created at the hairline to allow the body to move.

The name Anselmo - Comics 2026 was hand-engraved on the back of the pendant.

 Disgust

“I just saved our lives. Yes. You’re welcome.”

Disgust (Clotilde) has a fairly clear idea of what she wants.

She knows what she likes and, above all, what she doesn’t like.

She selects, observes, judges, and keeps away from everything she considers undesirable. An emotion that speaks of instinct and protection, but also of taste, character, and decidedly high standards.

And it is precisely this selective, unmistakable character that we wanted to interpret in the pendant dedicated to Disgust.

Clotilde, a fictional name we chose ourselves, is a pendant with a necklace in Silnova 925 silver, embellished with 0.12 ct emeralds, a 0.005 ct diamond, and 18-karat yellow gold and enamel details. A mechanism was created to allow the handbag to open.

The name Clotilde - Comics 2026 was engraved by hand on the back of the pendant.

Anger

“Can we say that swear word now?”

Anger (Ruggero) knows no middle ground.

He is instinctive, impulsive, and uncontrollable. He flares up when something doesn't go as it should and, faced with what he considers unjust, is practically impossible to silence.

But Anger is also the emotion that drives us to react, take a stand, and make ourselves heard.

And perhaps this is precisely the most interesting side of the character: behind every one of his outbursts lies a very strong sense of what he considers right and wrong.

Ruggero, another fictional name, is a Silnova Silver ring with 0.02 ct Rubies, 18kt yellow gold details, and enamel. In this case too, we created a mechanism that allows the flame to slide out and be revealed.

On the back, the name Ruggero is also engraved by hand.

Joy and Boredom

“I just wanted Riley to be happy.” — Joy (Ines)

“You care too much about things.” — Boredom (Ilde)

Perhaps we couldn't have chosen two more different emotions.

On the one hand, Joy: enthusiastic, optimistic, always looking for the positive side. Her sole goal is to make sure Riley is happy.

On the other side, Boredom: detached, uninterested, and decidedly harder to impress.

If Joy sees something worth getting excited about practically everywhere, Boredom seems to wonder why we should take everything so seriously.

Two emotions that seem to be polar opposites thus become a pair of earrings: different from each other, but designed to be worn together.

Maybe that's because we are just like that too.

We can get excited about something and, a moment later, no longer find it so interesting. Move from one emotion to another or even feel more than one at the same time.

We are never just one thing.

Ines and Ilde, the latest fictional names we have chosen, are earrings in Silnova 925 Silver with 0.12 ct yellow Sapphires, a 0.04 ct blue Sapphire, 18kt yellow gold details, and enamel.

The respective names Ines and Ilde are engraved on the back of each earring.

As always, each creation was made entirely by hand in our workshop: four unique pieces in which the fantastical world of Inside Out meets Klepto's craftsmanship and imagination.

Because this time, we didn't just want to create jewelry inspired by characters.

We wanted to give form to the unpredictable and wonderful tangle of emotions that lives within each of us.
